Sir Alex Ferguson signed new contract
Manchester Utd's officals could convince Sir Alex Ferguson to sign a new three years contract worth at least £10 million. This contract gives the Premiership leaders time to find a new coach for his retirement in summer 2005.

Manchester Utd manager Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed he will finally sign his new contract next week. Only thing he needs to do is to pen his new deal.


December 2001 : Congratulations Ottmar Hitzfeld
Bayern München manager Ottmar Hitzfeld has been voted "World club manager of the year 2001". The International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) announced the 52 years old Hitzfeld as manager of the year. Hitzfeld got 228 points from the experts out of 87 countries. Runner-up Gerard Houllier who has won the UEFA-Cup with Liverpool got 125 points. Third placed Carlos Bianchi who has won the Copa-Libertadores with Boca Juniors got 120 points. Ottmar Hitzfeld and Bayern München have won the German Championship, Champions League and World Club Cup.
